Welcome to April

Yesterday was a blue-sky day that had me wandering around the homestead repeatedly, distracted from the mundane tasks of the day to marvel at all the signs of reawakening life. The seemingly drunken bumblebees are buzzing the maples. I spotted my first butterfly on the front porch. The birdsong is full of new tunes. The nettles are abundant.
